WOULD YOU?

Would you seal my wounds with your kiss?
A few inches down my chest cavity
into my thumping heart
Would you tell its silent cries
that you'd be there for an eternities time?
Would you be the full stop to my life of neverending commas?
Would you be the oasis in my life of permanent mirages?
Would you be there
when no one else would?
Would you save me from myself and make me believe in good,
when everything around me
would be going against my truths?
Would you be the one,
they talk about in movies or in ballads and stories?
and if you wouldn't be what poet's have already written about
would you write a new story,
inventing our own love record?
